There is a link between cultivating compassion and reducing inflammation in your blood stream, relationships and personal development. Inflammation is known as the cause of many modern day complaints. This workshop breaks down WHY a yoga practise helps you feel better.
There is a special Buddhist meditation, coupled with shamanic chanting and a sweaty yoga practise working on therapeutic back bends and elongating tension in the shoulders and neck to drop what holds us back from self kindness and frees us to live the life out spirit most yearns for.

Jambo is a Forrest Yoga Guardian and practitioner of Integrated Health: Complementary Medicine. He is a speaker and travelling assistant to Ana Forrest.
Jambo has been focusing his research around kindness, happiness and functional movement. His method of teaching makes learning anatomy a memorable experience. Light hearted in his approach to life but serious about going inside, Jambo encourages all of his students to reflect on which war is going on inside and provides practical skills to end the internal struggles and reshaping a life that is truly desired.

YIN MASTERCLASS NOVEMBER 14TH AT 6.30-8.30 PM WITH JOSH SUMMERS Yin Yoga, The Other Half of Practice: An Introduction
In this master-class, Josh Summers will introduce you to the core concepts and elements of the quiet practice of Yin Yoga. During this workshop you will explore the physical, energetic and mental effects of emphasizing the 'other half' of the yogic journey.
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. Some call it the “other half of yoga.” In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body.
Physically, Yin Yoga restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, primarily between the navel and the knees. Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system, which enhances the body’s energetic flow and supports emotional equilibrium.
And as this practice emphasizes stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation.
Josh is a Yin Yoga teacher, a licensed acupuncturist, and a meditation instructor. Josh began studying Iyengar yoga in the early nineties with James Murphy in New York City. Since then, he has spent several years living abroad in India, Taiwan and Burma where he has studied both yoga and meditation. As his interest in vipassana or insight meditation developed so too did his interest in more contemplative forms of yoga practice. With a professional background in Oriental Medicine and a personal passion for the dharma, Josh fell in love with Yin Yoga as a beautiful synthesis of the two.

Yoga boann, Ken Neera and Gabby would like to thank all who attended the fantastic YOGINOMAD workshops.
This was Gabbys and Neeras first time to Ireland and were pleasantly surprised with the huge attendance, the dedication and eagerness shown by all and of coarse the welcoming smiles. These were very challenging workshops and we did explore some of the more advanced asana ,kriyas and pranayama and for some it was a new experience and from feedback everyone loved the challenge and enjoyed the fun ,sweat and laughter. As always lunch was served and we all enjoyed the chat and as usual food was delicious. Gabby and Neera found the atmosphere very warming and friendly so again well done everyone. Special thanks to Gabby and Neera ,thanks to all the families who stayed hope you had a pleasant stay.

HAITI fundraising day
Thanks to everyone who attended, donated and participated in our HAITI fundraising day. We raised 650 euro. I am overwhelmed at the generosity of everyone and the community spirit shown. To me this was the practice of true yoga ,the coming together of everyone offering whatever they could from the heart, money, prizes ,therapies ,classes etc. Special thanks to Deborah, Cora, Laura, Ken and Crispo ,The life support therapy clinic, Southshore therapy , Southgate gym and Only natural .
Anthony Kearney Workshop
Anthony and yogaboann once again thank all students that attended Anto,s workshop at yogaboann. As before we had a full house, high spirits, great yoga and an overall great day. Feedback again was very positive and everyone worked deep and reaped the benefits. We all enjoyed the well earned lunch and thanks again to those who helped.
